Radboud University – Performance Indicators

According to the Dutch university information guide Keuzegids Universiteiten 2020 (for Bachelor’s programmes), Radboud Unversity is the best traditional, general university in the Netherlands. Two programmes have received a Top Programme designation, nine programmes are deemed the best in their field by the Keuzegids. In the Keuzegids Masters 2021 eleven Radboud University master’s programs score above average.

Study success: 76 % gets bachelor’s diploma within 4 years

Over the last few years, Radboud University has focused on intensifying its education and on increasing study success rates. As a result, 76 % of the students that started their bachelor’s programme in 2014, have got their diploma within 4 years.

Student satisfaction: National Student Survey

Students of Radboud University on average score the university an 8.0 (out of 10) and their programme a 7.7. Thus shows the National Student Survey, which is held each spring. This survey is a vital resource for programmes in helping them further improve the quality of education. In 2019, 7,359 students of Radboud University participated.

The results of this survey are also incorporated into important sources of information for prospective students, such as the Guide to Higher Education, Elsevier Beste Studies (Elsevier’s Top Study Programmes), and the website studiekeuze123.nl.

The EHEO general plan stresses that: Higher education systems require adequate funding and, as an investment in economic growth, public spending in higher education should be protected.
