Erasmus+ supported almost 19,000 projects in 2021, shows annual report

The Erasmus+ annual report, published today, also shows that over 70,000 organisations and more than 648,000 people took part in the programme in 2021.

Eramus+ in 2021 had a total budget of €2,9 billion, with 19,000 projects, around 71,000 organisations and close to 649,000 participants in mobility activities.

The 2021 Erasmus+ annual report, presented as part of today’s closing event for the 35th anniversary of Erasmus+, shows how the programme supports thousands of projects despite a complex global context.

The numbers demonstrate the programme’s continued dedication to enriching the everyday lives of citizens in Europe and beyond, and its appeal for an ever-growing number of participants.
